The Ongoing Concept is a hidden gem of the metal world. They mesh together multiple genres seamlessly while still holding on to the essence of their metal identity. They are, straight up, interdisciplinary. Take “Feel” as an example of metal invading another genre. “Feel” is infused with funk, intentionally sassy echoes, driving guitar, and a fun overall… feel. Nice.
